Salmon Bay Pebbles 3/8" - Per Ton
A mixture of rounded pebbles, beautiful muted semi translucent colors, great barefoot pathway or garden ground cover surface.
Salmon Bay Pebbles, also known as Parchment Pebbles and Alabama Jelly Beans are a mixture of opaque salmon pebbles with some white. This is very a beautiful small rock material. Commonly used as an accent in the garden for small planterbeds, borders as a mulch for containers or in dish gardens.
Tons vs. Yards and Square Feet.
In most cases, we charge by the ton and we have the receipts from the scale house at the quarry to show upon request. Materials sold by the yard tend to have very inaccurate amounts in the trucks. Amounts depend on the size of the loader bucket, how well the material was scooped up, and who was supervising the loading of the truck. Scale House totals don't lie, so why take a chance on losing money and time with how many square feet, scoops, skips, and or dumps were made in loading the truck?
Architects, public agencies, contractors, and owner-builders requiring a competitive bid for the materials and transport costs should E-mail us with material specifications, the amount and date needed and the buyer's contact information. We typically employ trucks with carrying capacities ranging from 17 to 26.5 tons.

Product Samples
California Building Material Supply believes that for most consumers and end users of these landscaping or building material products, the best location to view most of these products is at the actual site where they are going be used. This is particularly true for existing homes and commercial locations that are being renovated or re-landscaped. Samples of most materials can be delivered and evaluated by you on-site for you to make the most informed choice possible. Materials are sold per the specification of the stone type, product brand, and basic sizes.
Samples are shipped via United State Postal Service, Priority Mail. We can get about 16 pounds of material into a large flat-rate box. Samples are sent with an invoice on Net 10-Day Terms. When ordering your samples use the Purchase Order function at checkout and enter SAMPLES. This will allow you to make a purchase without having to pay for the samples at that time.

Product Specifications and Uses
In terms of specifications, Salmon Bay Pebbles are predominantly shades of salmon pink and tan, with occasional hints of gray or cream. The colors are reminiscent of sunset hues, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in outdoor spaces.

Here are the approximate coverage estimates for the different sizes:
- 1/4" Pebbles: Around 200 to 250 square feet per ton, and 250 to 300 square feet per yard, with a 2-inch depth.

3/8" Pebbles: Approximately 120 to 150 square feet per ton, and 150 to 180 square feet per yard, with a 2-inch depth.

1/2" Pebbles: Roughly 80 to 100 square feet per ton, and 100 to 120 square feet per yard, with a 2-inch depth.
