FIVB Certified Volleyball Sand is mandated for all facilities that have events that have FIVB certification. The difference between standard beach volleyball sand and this FIVB-certified material is that it is easier on the feet, ankles, and knees of players during the course of full series of practices and competition play.

This sand is used for professional-level volleyball events as it has been washed and sized to FIVB size and particle standards. It is free of any form of contamination and dusty material. The certified sand is soft and does not compact even when wet, so you can provide a safe environment for the players.

This beach volleyball sand is 100% mined sand and is triple washed to remove heavy clays, silts, and fine aggregates.

This reduces hazardous dust in dry conditions giving the sand a very low dust profile while also making sure our sand is not too coarse. That means players won’t hesitate to dive and dig while playing on your court. Another benefit is excellent drainage during the rainy season meaning immediate playability.

This is sand is subject to very high hauling charges and may also be subject to Supersack and pallet charges.

Tons vs. Square Yards.
In most cases we charge by the ton and we have the receipts from the scale house at the quarry to show upon request. Materials sold by the yard tend to have very in-accurate amounts in the trucks. Amounts depend the size of the loader bucket, how well the material was scooped up and who was supervising the loading of the truck. Scale House totals don't lie, so why take a chance on losing money and time with how many square feet, scoops, skips and or dumps were made in loading the truck?

Product Samples
California Building Material Supply believes that for most consumers and end users of these landscaping or building material products the best location to view most of these products is at the actual site where they are going be used. This is particularly true for existing homes and commercial locations that are being renovated or re-landscaped. Samples of most materials can be delivered and evaluated by you on site for you to make the most informed choice possible. Materials are sold per the specification of the stone type, product brand and basic sizes.

Samples are shipped via United State Postal Service, Priority Mail. We can get about 16 pounds of material into a large flat rate box. Samples are sent with an invoice on Net 10 Day Terms. When ordering your samples use the Purchase Order function at checkout and enter SAMPLES. This will allow you to make a purchase without having to pay for the samples at that time.
