Carmel Coast GraniteCrete Stabilizer - 40 Bags Per Pallet

Granitecrete is a permeable paving solution for projects of all sizes. It can be seamlessly incorporated with the surrounding landscape themes and designs. Granitecrete gives a firm, stable and porous end surface, that reduces water padding and soil erosion. GraniteCrete can be finished with a variety of different techniques to achieve the desired look (smooth, brushed, coarse). It is superior because of its sustainability characteristics and ease of installation. GraniteCrete is a combination of pre-consumer recycled aggregate, gypsum by-product, fine clays, and colorant. It is recommended that 3/8" minus decomposed granite material be used with GraniteCrete Admixture. Granitecrete is naturally resistant to weeds, which is why weed barrier fabric is not needed for the installation of Granitecrete mixture with D. G.. This characteristic of Granitecrete also makes it perfect for placement between flagstones or stepping stones.

We recommend using two 85lbs. bags per cubic yard for residential installations, and three 85 lbs. bags per cubic yard for commercial installations. We have a paving materials estimator to help you estimate how much GraniteCrete and decomposed granite you will need.

The following are the sustainability features of Granitecrete:
GraniteCrete can be mixed with existing surrounding native soils!
Manufactured using pre and post-consumer recycled materials
No oils, resins, polymers, or enzymes to leach into the environment
Contributes 13 LEED points as a stand-alone product
Solar Reflectance Index (SRI): 48

The environmental benefits of Granitecrete are:
Reduces stormwater runoff rate and volume
Reduces water pollution by trapping pollutants in the pavement
Replenishes groundwater, which can, in turn, be used by plants surrounding the pavement.

The square foot coverage per ton of gravel will vary slightly with the surface and designs of the project, waste, etc. will affect area coverage. The information is based on average ton and cubic yard amounts. This decorative building stone has naturally occurring colors and shade variations. These are what give this stone the natural beauty and uniqueness that causes its appeal. Color tones change can sometimes occur with aging or maintenance practices of the location it is installed at therefore exact matching of existing stone may not always occur. During processing or transportation dust will adhere to the rocks and change its appearance on arrival but we guarantee all stones to be true to the specific brand name, type and size ordered or complete exchange including transportation costs will be made.

After installation is completed the rock should be rinsed off to show the natural beauty and character.
