The minimum quantity for a truckload of mulch is 50 yards. Semi-walking floor trailer can deliver upto a 100 yards of mulch.
We Deliver in quantities of 5 cubic yards and greater. Call us to see if we deliver to your location. Delivery fees are based on the distance from our site to the drop off location. We charge round trip mileage for all deliveries. Depending on the quantity of materials, type of materials and accessibility we can deliver with a small dump truck or a large walking floor semi. All of our products have different weights and capacities please call us to assess which type of delivery you will be needing. We also have roll off bins that we can conveniently drop & pick up at your location.
Mahogany Mulch, made with only 100% natural and non-toxic colorants, gardens can maintain their color consistency over the entire season, providing landscape color even in winter. Green waste mulches are a very poor choice for residential and commercial building landscapes due to the fast rate of natural decomposition. Additionally, green waste mulches change colors rapidly depending on moisture, light, and temperature. Screened Red Colored Mulch from recycled fir wood lumber products, no green waste used so this is a very clean, safe, and long-lasting landscape material. Consistent in size and color, used as ground cover and ingredient in large container blends. Pathways benefit from a thick layer of mulch. This product applied at 3 to 4 inches both reduces weeds, improves soil moisture, and increases plant health through stronger more healthy roots. A properly installed mulch bed also provides a clear delineation of where you want people to walk. Mulched planter beds can add a textural or colorful accent to the landscape.

Tons vs. Yards and Square Feet.
In most cases, we charge by the ton and we have the receipts from the scale house at the quarry to show upon request. Materials sold by the yard tend to have very inaccurate amounts in the trucks. Amounts depend on the size of the loader bucket, how well the material was scooped up, and who was supervising the loading of the truck. Scale House totals don't lie, so why take a chance on losing money and time with how many square feet, scoops, skips, and or dumps were made in loading the truck?
Architects, public agencies, contractors, and owner-builders requiring a competitive bid for the materials and transport costs should E-mail us with material specifications, the amount and date needed, and the buyer's contact information. We typically employ trucks with carrying capacities ranging from 17 to 26.5 tons.

Product Samples
California Building Material Supply believes that for most consumers and end users of these landscaping or building material products, the best location to view most of these products is at the actual site where they are going to be used. This is particularly true for existing homes and commercial locations that are being renovated or re-landscaped. Samples of most materials can be delivered and evaluated by you on-site for you to make the most informed choice possible. Materials are sold per the specification of the stone type, product brand, and basic sizes.

Samples are shipped via United State Postal Service, Priority Mail. We can get about 16 pounds of material into a large flat-rate box. Samples are sent with an invoice on Net 10-Day Terms. When ordering your samples use the Purchase Order function at checkout and enter SAMPLES. This will allow you to make a purchase without having to pay for the samples at that time.
