White Bocce Blend - SuperEarth-sack Per Ton 1 Ton Covers 100 to 150 Square Feet
A premium custom blend with California's finest white decomposed granite. The installation of an Italian Bocce Ball Court provides an excellent way to spend afternoons and evenings having back yard fun with family, friends and business associates. A premium custom blend with California's finest white decomposed granite and exclusive marine composted oyster flour. Traditionally Bocce Ball courts are covered with a 2 to 3 inch layer of crushed oyster flour spread that has been blended with decomposed granite in a very fine 1/4" minus screen size. In regions with high spring and summer rainfall it is advisable to use a greater percentage of oyster flour and washed concrete sand for improved drainage and ease of maintenance. After the installation of the playing surface has been done a layer of finely crushed oyster shell flour is often applied.
The role that oyster flour plays in bocce court surface mixtures is to keep the decomposed granite from binding together becoming extremely hard and un-workable for grooming. The oyster flour keep the decomposed granite from completely binding together. Through the normal course of play; ruts, troughs and material displacement takes place. Our decomposed granite oyster flour blend is in traditional Italian bocce ball court surface formula. When groomed out it makes a smooth solid surface to play on. When play is completed it makes for an easy surface to quickly renovate. We are also able to ship all of the other materials needed for installation and maintenance to you. Installation and maintenance services are available. Free rental tools are available to assist with the installation.
Oystershell Flour Oyster shell flour is applied over the top of the finished court surface at the rate of 1/4 to 1/2 pound per square foot resulting in a thin layer of finely crushed oyster shell flour for a very smooth playing surface. Shipping Blended materials are shipped 2,000 and 3,000-pound SuperEarth-sacks, depending upon transportation and unloading equipment. In some regions, the material is made available for will-call.

Rock Material Prices Per Pound, Per Ton, and Per Cubic Yard In most cases, we charge by the ton and we have the receipts from the scale house at the quarry to show upon request. Materials sold by the yard tend to have very inaccurate amounts in the trucks. The amount loaded depends on the size of the loader bucket, how well the material was scooped up, and who was supervising the loading of the truck. Scale House totals don't lie, so why take a chance on losing money and time with how many square feet, scoops, skips, and or dumps were made in loading the truck? Just get it weighed out. Architects, public agencies, contractors, and owner-builders requiring a competitive bid for the materials and transport costs should E-mail us with material specifications, the amount and date needed, and the buyer's contact information.
