Soil Amendment
We Deliver in quantities of 5 cubic yards and greater. Call us to see if we deliver to your location. Delivery fees are based on the distance from our site to the drop off location. We charge round trip mileage for all deliveries. Depending on the quantity of materials, type of materials and accessibility we can deliver with a small dump truck or a large walking floor semi. All of our products have different weights and capacities please call us to assess which type of delivery you will be needing. We also have roll off bins that we can conveniently drop & pick up at your location.
Introducing Soil Amendment – a premium blend of pre-composted organic green materials, yard trimmings, brush, and leaves. This versatile product serves as both a top dressing and soil amendment, slowly releasing essential nutrients like phosphorus and potassium while acting as a fine mulch. Tilled into soil, it enhances organic matter content, improving soil structure and aiding in the loosening of heavy clay soils. While not a significant source of nitrogen, it offers a low-cost ground cover option when used as a top dressing, enriching soil with organic matter and providing the benefits of mulch.
Tons vs. Yards and Square Feet.
In most cases we charge by the ton and we have the receipts from the scale house at the quarry to show upon request. Materials sold by the yard tend to have very in-accurate amounts in the trucks. Amounts depend the size of the loader bucket, how well the material was scooped up and who was supervising the loading of the truck. Scale House totals don't lie, so why take a chance on losing money and time with how many square feet, scoops, skips and or dumps were made in loading the truck?
Architects, public agencies, contractors and owner-builders requiring a competitive bid for the materials and transport costs should E-mail us with material specifications, amount and date needed and buyers contact information. We typically employ trucks with carrying capacities ranging from 17 to 26.5 tons.

Product Samples
California Building Material Supply believes that for most consumers and end users of these landscaping or building material products the best location to view most of these products is at the actual site where they are going be used. This is particularly true for existing homes and commercial locations that are being renovated or re-landscaped. Samples of most materials can be delivered and evaluated by you on site for you to make the most informed choice possible. Materials are sold per the specification of the stone type, product brand and basic sizes.
Samples are shipped via United State Postal Service, Priority Mail. We can get about 16 pounds of material into a large flat rate box. Samples are sent with an invoice on Net 10 Day Terms. When ordering your samples use the Purchase Order function at checkout and enter SAMPLES. This will allow you to make a purchase without having to pay for the samples at that time.
