Drainage and erosion

Two different jobs. A French drain is a trench of clean 3/4 inch drain rock around a perforated pipe, wrapped in fabric. An eroding slope or ditch is armored with rip rap, angular stone 3 to 8 inches that stays put in moving water. For a trench, enter its length and width (usually 1 foot) with the trench depth.
