Aquascape Pond Kits & Water Feature Kits

Aquascape water feature kits box up the parts of a pond, a pondless waterfall or a fountain so the components are matched to each other before they reach the yard. Pick an Aquascape pond kit sized by surface area for a professional build, a DIY backyard pond kit if you are doing the digging yourself, a pondless waterfall kit built around a hidden reservoir, a small or large fountain kit, or a RainXchange rainwater harvesting kit that stores runoff under a decorative feature.

Choose a kit by the finished feature you want, not by the pump alone. Stepping up a pond size steps up liner, filter capacity and pump flow together. New to ponds? Start with our step-by-step guide to how to build a backyard pond, then come back for the kit. Aquascape rates every kit for a pond size, a waterfall height and a reservoir volume, and publishes that rating and the full parts list in its documentation for the model, so check it against anything you already own before ordering, or call us and we will read it out. Larger kits ship by truck and are quoted for freight before the order is placed.

Common uses

What people in this group are usually solving for.

A full pond

Professional grade pond kits sized by surface area, with the skimmer, biological filter, pump, liner and plumbing matched as a set.

A waterfall with no pond

Pondless waterfall kits built around a hidden reservoir, so there is moving water and sound without open water to maintain.

A fountain

Small and large fountain kits for a feature that runs on a basin rather than an excavated pond.

Catching the rain

RainXchange kits that store roof runoff under a decorative feature instead of sending it to the street.

Aquascape Pond Kits & Water Feature Kits buying guide

How to choose, what to check before you order, and how Aquascape orders ship.

A kit is Aquascape boxing up the parts of a pond, a pondless waterfall or a fountain so the components are matched to each other before they reach the yard. Choose by the finished feature you want rather than by the pump alone, because stepping up a pond size steps up liner, filter capacity and pump flow together.

Pond, pondless or fountain?

A pond gives you open water, fish and plants, and it is the one that needs the most attention through the year. A pondless waterfall gives you the sound and the movement with the water held in a hidden reservoir under gravel, which is the usual answer where small children, a small yard or a maintenance worry rules a pond out. A fountain is the smallest step: a basin, a pump and a decorative piece, with no excavation past the basin itself. All three use the same Aquascape components underneath, so the decision is about what you want to look after, not about which parts are better.

Sizing a kit by the finished feature

Aquascape rates every kit for a pond size, a waterfall height and a reservoir volume. Where it publishes a spec table for the model, those figures are shown under Specifications on the product page. Work from those, not from the pump rating, because a pump that moves plenty of water at zero lift can be short at the top of a tall waterfall. Measure the space you actually have, decide the drop you want from the top of the falls to the water line, and pick the kit rated for both. If the feature sits between two kit sizes, the larger one gives you filtration headroom, which is the part people regret skimping on later.

What is in the box, and what is not

Where Aquascape publishes a spec table for a kit, the component list is shown under Specifications and the manual under Manuals and documents. Check it against anything you already own, or call us and we will read it out. What a kit does not include is the rock, the gravel and the plants that finish the feature, which is a large part of the look and of the biological surface area. We sell those separately. Electrical work to bring an outlet within reach of the skimmer is also outside the kit, and on a larger feature it is worth pricing before the hole is dug.

Freight on the larger kits

Kits ship direct from the manufacturer by carrier. The smaller fountain and DIY kits go by parcel and are priced for shipping at checkout. The larger pond and pondless kits are heavy enough to move by truck, so they are quoted for freight before the order is placed rather than priced automatically. Plan the delivery around a spot the truck can reach and somewhere the pallet can sit, because a liner roll and a filter vault are awkward to move once they are down. Call us if you want the freight number before you commit.

FAQ

Pick by the finished pond, not by the pump. Aquascape rates each kit for a pond size, a waterfall height and a reservoir volume. Measure the space and the drop you want first, then check those figures under Specifications where the kit shows them, or call us.

A waterfall with no open pond at the bottom. The water disappears into gravel and collects in a hidden reservoir that holds the pump, then is pumped back to the top. You get the sound and the movement without open water to maintain.

It includes the matched components: pump, filtration, liner and plumbing, as named in the Aquascape parts list for that kit. It does not include the rock, gravel and plants that finish the feature, or the electrical work to get power to it.

That pairing is how the Aquascape ecosystem approach is designed to run, and the pond kits are built around it. The skimmer takes surface debris and houses the pump, the BioFalls filter holds the biological media.

The DIY backyard waterfall kits are put together for exactly that. The professional grade pond kits can be installed by a capable owner, but the excavation, the rock work and the electrical are the parts that decide how it looks and how safe it is.

Rainwater harvesting built into a water feature. Roof runoff is stored in modules under a decorative fountain or waterfall instead of running to the street, and the stored water is available for irrigation.

Yes. Kits are assembled from the same components sold individually, so a larger pump, an add-on filter, lighting or an autofill valve can be added afterward. Check the flow and the plumbing size on the existing unit first.
