  2. Pick a material on each shelf. Every product that works for the job is there, cheapest first, at today’s per-ton or per-yard price.
  3. Order each line online, or send the whole list to us for a delivered quote.

Questions

How do you figure out how much material I need?

Length times width gives the square feet. The depth on each shelf is the standard for that job, such as 4 inches of base under a driveway or 3 inches of mulch on a bed, and you can change it. Square feet times depth gives cubic feet, converted to tons or cubic yards with the density of that material, plus 10 percent for settling and spillage.

Is the delivered price the real price?

The material prices are today’s per-ton and per-yard prices. The delivery figure is our standard rate for that distance and weight, the same table checkout uses, and it is confirmed at checkout. Loads over 8 tons and addresses more than 260 miles from our yards are quoted by hand.

Can I pick up instead of having it delivered?

Yes. Leave the ZIP blank and the prices are for pickup at our Rosamond or Visalia, California yards.

What if my project is not on the list?
